- • Lumber & Wood: 2x4 and 2x6 framing lumber, plywood, OSB, baseboards, trim, and studs (nails hammered down).
- • Cabinets & Countertops: Kitchen base and wall cabinets, bathroom vanities, laminate, and solid wood tops.
- • Flooring: Carpet rolls, underlayment padding, vinyl planks, laminate flooring, and linoleum.
- • Fixtures: Sinks, faucets, toilet units, fiberglass shower stalls, bathtubs, doors, and windows.
- • Packaging: Corrugated cardboard boxes, plastic wrap, and appliance shipping cartons.
Weight Considerations & Restrictions
- • Dense Inert Materials: Concrete chunks, brick, mortar, rock, dirt, and heavy ceramic tile add up fast. Your $550 flat rate covers 2.0 full tons (4,000 lbs). Additional weight is billed at $160/ton based on certified scale tickets.
- • No Wet Paint or Chemicals: Liquid paint cans, solvent wash, adhesives, and wood stains cannot be accepted.
- • No Asbestos or Hazardous Fibers: Pre-1980 acoustic popcorn ceiling texture or insulation containing regulated asbestos is strictly prohibited by LA County landfill regulations.
- • No Sealed Pressure Vessels: Gas cylinders, welding tanks, and propane bottles are prohibited.
